Two Decades of Neighbors Serving Neighbors

This month marks twenty years since Summit Home Services opened its doors with a single truck, one phone line, and a simple promise: show up when we say we will, do honest work, and treat every home like it belongs to family. Two decades later that first truck has grown into a fleet, but the promise has not changed. We wanted to take a moment away from the how-to guides and the maintenance tips to introduce the people behind the company name and to say thank you to the community that made twenty years possible.

Where We Started

Our founder started out doing ride-alongs with an uncle who ran a small repair shop, learning that the technical work was only half the job. The other half was trust. People let us into their homes at their most stressful moments, when the basement is flooding or the heat has died on the coldest night of the year, and earning that trust meant being straight with them about what was wrong and what it would cost. That philosophy became the foundation of the company, and it is still the first thing every new technician learns.

The People Behind the Trucks

Our team today spans apprentices in their first year to master technicians with decades of experience. Several of our longest-tenured staff started as apprentices and worked their way up, and we are proud that we have been able to build careers rather than just fill positions. Every technician who comes into your home is background-checked, licensed, and trained not just on the tools but on the standard of respect we expect: clean up after the work, explain what you found in plain language, and never sell someone something they do not need. Those are not slogans on a wall; they are how we have kept customers for twenty years.

Giving Back

Being part of a community means more than sending invoices to it. Over the years our team has donated repairs to families in hardship, sponsored youth sports teams, participated in local food drives, and provided free furnace safety checks for seniors ahead of winter. These are the parts of the job that never show up on a work order but matter just as much as the ones that do. We have been fortunate to build a business here, and we believe in putting some of that good fortune back into the neighborhoods we serve.

Thank You

None of this happens without you, the homeowners who called us that first year and told a neighbor, and the thousands who have trusted us since. Twenty years in, we are more committed than ever to the promise we started with. Here is to the next twenty, and to every home we get to help along the way. From all of us at Summit Home Services, thank you for letting us be your neighbors.
